Film sound designer Pelle Venetjoki has founded dancing bears Films and dancing bears Film Sound companies to serve the film industry in Finland, Europe, and the rest of the world. We create unique films that offer stunning experiences to viewers.
Pelle Venetjoki studied sound design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki (now Aalto University) in the Department of Film and Scenography. He has also studied scriptwriting and other forms of storytelling.
Storytelling is our priority when working with sound. We make filmmaker's internal world concrete!

Background
Pertti "Pelle" Venetjoki is a film sound designer and entrepreneur who feels home in the warmth of studios as well as freezing mountains. Pelle holds an MA from Aalto University and has 25 years of dedicated experience in the dynamic world of sound recording and post-production for fiction films and documentaries.
Talk Abstract
In this presentation I ponder the significance of natural sounds in shaping our experiences and memories. Drawing from my own observations and research findings, I propose that exposure to authentic auditory environments fosters creativity and emotional connections. However, in today's digital age, where headphones and artificial sounds dominate, I raise concerns about the potential consequences for memory formation and human connection. Through anecdotes and insights, I advocate for the cultivation of listening as a skill essential for understanding our world and preserving our humanity amidst technological advancements.
